Population health, social determinants, community health, public health – no matter what terminology you choose
it is clear that obtaining quality, affordable, and effective healthcare takes more than one entity – It Takes A Village!

The Virginia Healthcare Consortium, in its inaugural event, will bring together leaders and advocates from various healthcare and community organizations to participate in an open panel discussion and breakout into work groups, as we collaborate around the Healthy People 2020 initiatives in the Hampton Roads area.

Collaborating in workgroups, we will openly work toward addressing two of the biggest areas of concerns as it pertains to social determinants of health within the Hampton Roads area, Interoperability and Social and Cultural Competency. Attendees will also have the opportunity to submit any specific questions they may want to ask our panelists.
